I'm participating in National Novel Writing Month. I haven't decided if this makes me a go-getter or criminally insane, but I'm going to give it a shot.
The challenge:
Write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. As my friend so helpfully pointed out, it's only 1,667 words a day. I almost typed that with a straight typeface.
In all seriousness, I've been wanting to start a book for a while now and this just may be the shove I need.
It's going to be difficult. Obviously, school and work come first so there will be times where I catch up on the weekends. If this interferes with the Lions, it may be tough.
And there is the reason for this blog. I'm doing this in public so I have a diary of how this is going, but also so someone can keep me on task. Don't let me get lazy. I'm counting on you.
